Frequently asked questions about Large Garden Rooms

Do I need planning permission for a large garden room?

Under permitted development as long as your garden room is less than 2.5m tall, is further than 2m away from your boundary line and doesn’t exceed 30m2 then you won’t need planning permission.

What is the largest size garden room I can have?

Due the bespoke nature of our garden rooms, we can build any size room however most of our clients decide to fit within the permitted development rules which would require the room to be less then 30 sqm.

Can I have a toilet and/or shower in my garden room?

Yes, we can install plumbing and a full working toilet/shower, sink or kitchenette into your space.

Can I have wall partitions in my garden room?

Yes of course you can – most of our clients prefer an open plan layout but we’re happy to design and install a garden room with multiple rooms when required. You won’t be able to include this as an option in the 3D builder, so please get in touch with our team today and they can design your dream garden room for you.
